I have a Mac desktop snow leopard OS X 10.6.8; When attempting to play quick time movies (e.g. Img2522.mov; DSCNO525.mov) I get msg 'add'l software required; when I click link to check for the software I get 'page not found'. I have previously been able to play QT movies with no problem. Nov 23, 2013 10.6.anything is Snow Leopard, with 10.6.8 being the highest version of that. 10.7 is Lion, 10.8 is Mountain Lion and 10.9 is Mavericks.
