That includes Safari, iTunes, iBooks, Messages, Mail, Calendar, Photos, and FaceTime. Aug 04, 2006 This version IS Mac OS 9.2.2 This eMac was a replacement for an old iMac G3 that was having problems with OS X, so when I got the eMac, I copied all OS9 App and System files over to my eMac so I could use classic. The eMac came with OSX 10.3.9 preinstalled on it, so I don't know whether or not OS9 Hard Drive Drivers was installed.
Which macOS version is installed?
From the Apple menu in the corner of your screen, choose About This Mac. You'll see the macOS name, such as macOS Mojave, followed by its version number. If some product or feature requires you to know the build number as well, click the version number to see it.
This example shows macOS Catalina version 10.15 build 19A583.
Which macOS version is the latest?
These are all Mac operating systems, starting with the most recent. When a major new macOS is released, it gets a new name, such as macOS Catalina. And as updates that change the macOS version number become available, this article is updated to show the latest version of that macOS.

Depending on the eMac G4 processor series, the last Mac OS X for PowerPC may vary.
Generally if the unit has at least 867MHz or higher, the Mac OS X Leopard 10.5(.8) is
the final one supported in PPC architecture Macs. Slower CPUs than 867MHz were
allocated to using Tiger 10.4(.11) and most PowerPC models of circa 2005/6 shipped
with Tiger as their system. This also was first year of Intel-based hardware Mac & they
shipped with their own grey-label machine specific Tiger install DVD media.
{So most pre-2006 Macs would be 'non-Intel' and be so limited to Tiger or Leopard.
The PowerPC or non-Intel has upgrade limits due to architecture; or hardware build.}
And cannot use another Mac's install-restore DVD media; least of all ones intended
for use in the other hardware platform. I have some Late 2005 or Mid 2005 build model
G4 Mac Mini, iBook G4, iMacG4; & also a first edition MacBook1.1 (13-inch) early 2006.
The retail Leopard 10.5 DVD can install on both hardware types, generally speaking.
Your older eMac G4 appears to run Panther OS X 10.3.9; I still have discs for one.
To locate a full installer DVD for Leopard 10.5 in retail form may be difficult; some sources
I've seen can be very costly. When these were available, I found a good deal on ones that
Mac owners had updated from; so I have PPC G4 Mac computers and extra install discs.
Amazon affiliated stores online may list these; also note the iLife iWork, and other software
titles are not included in the retail 10.5 Leopard DVD installer. These are separate retail discs.
Same with upgrading to Tiger. That is harder to get install discs for than Leopard.
Even so, once you get to OS X Leopard 10.5.8, the iTunes v. 10.6.3 application is final one that
allows you some degree of usefulness; I got iTunes 9.2.1 for my Tiger 10.4.11 for Internet Radio.
